Nigeria Professional Football League club Akwa United will resume the final phase of their pre-season training today Monday December 31st ahead of the 2019 NPFL season after returning from Christmas break.
Players and Technical officials of the team embarked on Christmas break on 22nd, December and returned to camp in Uyo on Sunday 30th, December and will have two training sessions on Monday at the training pitch of the Nest of Champions.
More than 95% of the players are in camp and will take part in the two training sessions scheduled for Monday but Coach Everton will join the team later in the week.
The Promise Keepers will begin their quest for a medien NPFL title with a home fixture against El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri on January 13th, 2019 at the Nest of Champions.
