Two-time Federation Cup Champions Akwa United Football Club will begin preparations for the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League Season on Monday 19th August, 2019.
In a press statement signed by the club’s media manager Mr Mfon Patrick, players and officials of the club are to report to camp on or before Sunday 18th August, while the first pre-season training session will take place on Monday 19th August 2019 by eight O’clock in the morning.
The Promise Keepers ended the 2018/2019 NPFL abridged league season in 4th position after the play-offs in Lagos. The Uyo based side is looking forward to making early preparations ahead of the new NPFL season scheduled by the League Management Company LMC to kickoff on 22nd September.
