Defender Kodjovi Dadzie is confident he will be back to action for Akwa United after the World Cup break to be embark upon by clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The Left fullback is still nursing groin injury he sustained in early May and he is currently receiving treatment back home in his native Togo.
Kodjovi who has not been in action for the Promise Keepers has missed eight matches in all competitions.
“I’m receiving treatment and so far everything is working well. By the grace of God, I will return to action for my club after the World Cup break.
“I have been following my club’s activities back here in Togo and I’m happy that the team is doing well even in my absence. I know that all will be well soon enough for me to return to action and also contribute my quota”.
In the absence of Kodjovi Dadzie, Gabriel Wassa and Chigozie Chilekwu are the other options available for Coach Abdu Maikaba at left back.
