As the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL enters Match-day 22 this weekend, Akwa United will storm Umuahia township stadium with the hope of recording their 4th away win of the season against Abia Warriors.

“We have drop many points at home this season and we are determined to pick vital points on the road as we have done in many matches, so that is why we are committed to approach this match with a positive mind set.

“We have a very good record against Abia Warriors in Umuahia and we want to maintain that record on Sunday.

Coach Boboye has listed league leading scorer Ndifreke Effiong, legendary striker Akarandut Orok and Captain Otobong Effiong in his 18-Man match-day squad for the crucial game in Umuahia against

Orok and Ndifereke have scored 16 goals between them for the Promise keepers.

Akwa United, 4th on the log with 32 points from 22 games, have picked up 7 wins, 5 draws and two loses in 14 matches under Coach Boboye and victory in Umuahia on Sunday will see them move into the top three.
