Organizers of the Nigeria Premier Football League have rescheduled NPFL Matchday 34 tie involving Akwa United and Heartland FC from Sunday June 2nd to Monday June 3rd at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Nest of Champions.
In a letter dated May 27 and signed by the league’s Head of Operations Davidson Owumi, the change in date became necessary due to the approval of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium to host a Charity Match in honour of Super Eagles Captain’s Foundation launch on Sunday June 2 by four O’clock in the afternoon.
The league organizers appeal to relevant stakeholders to ensure adequate logistics are provided for the successful hosting of the match.
The League organizers however regret any inconvenience the shift in date may have caused the fans of the clubs.
