Nigeria Premier Football League have rescheduled NPFL Matchday 3 game involving Enyimba International and Akwa United from Sunday 22 September to Wednesday 2nd October 2024 to be played at Enyimba stadium, Aba.
In a letter dated 16 September and signed by the league’s Head of Operations Davidson Owumi, the change in date became necessary due to Enyimba’s involvement in a CAF Confederation Cup match against Etoile Filante De Ouagadougou of Burkina Faso fixed for Sunday 22 September.
NPFL appeals to relevant stakeholders to ensure adequate logistics are provided for the successful hosting of the match on the new date.
The League organizers however regret any inconvenience the shift in date may have caused fans of the clubs.
