Plateau Utd won’t survive us in Uyo – Mbaoma

Akwa United leading goal scorer Victor Mbaoma has said that his team will not leave any stone unturned when they lock horns with Champions Plateau United on Wednesday.

The match which is a rescheduled game from Matchday 16 will see two teams that played in CAF Confederation Cup competition battling for three points at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Mboama who has scored five league goals this season says his team is in the right frame of mind to carry the day.

“The game against Plateau United is a must win game for us. Where we are on the table is not our true position and we have to get back up the table as soon as possible.

” We cannot afford to drop anymore point at home. Our focus is on winning all our matches. Plateau United won the league last season and they are a good side, but coming to Uyo, they shouldn’t expect to get anything because we need all the points we can get.

“We are determined to do our best in every match,we need the support of our fans to achieve our target and by the Grace of God, we will be victorious on Wednesday”.

Mbaoma joined the Promise Keepers from Remo Stars at the beginning of the season and has scored five league goals and one in the CAF Confederation Cup.
